#40 Triangular Felting Needles

These #40T gauge felting needles are perfect for general felting, finishing and smoothing, and detail work. The #40T is a smaller needle and is also excellent at working with finer fibers.

This type of needle...

• Has 2 barbs per side
• Is 3 inches long (standard size for felting needles)
• Is painted Blue to help distinguish between other felting needles. 

Note: There is no standardized colors for felting needles, so the colors shown at Green Cottage don't correlate with other painted felting needles. 

Felting needles are brittle and known to break. When felting, ensure your needle goes straight in and out of the wool. Don't bend or twist the needle, as this can lead to breakages. 

CAUTION: Felting needles are very sharp! Felting needles are intended for supervised kids over age 10 and adults with good manual dexterity and the ability to use care and caution when working with sharp needles.
